I think it is a good time to buy 5D now. 5D Mark II does not worth the price IMO. 3.9 fps is still too slow for sport and action. The live view feature is not that critical for serious photographer anyways. The video? Not for me. I know the most photographer are not into video. If I need to buy another camera, I definitely will buy either 5D or a 40D.
